The Executive Editor of Early Childhood Language and Literacy will assist in creating innovative, research-based, developmentally-appropriate learning experiences. He or she will contribute to product planning and will manage a team of content developers to bring product plans to fruition with the highest commitment to quality and efficacy.

Program Manager
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate programs. You will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote Scholastic’s culture and achieve strategic business goals. You will also oversee and manage the budget for the program(s) in which you are involved.
Responsibilities & qualifications include:

The Program Manager is responsible for managing the application development milestones, dependencies, and risks associated with a technology large-scale delivery initiative.

The candidate will work closely with business users and Engineering team leads to identify, prioritize, and complete project milestones for the assigned area and help to apply an Agile methodology in a logical and reasonable manner communicating requirements and ensuring work is executed on time, on budget, and meets requirements.

This candidate is ultimately responsible for meeting the milestones committed to the business and delivering high quality work.

8-10 years' experience with technical project management of large teams on enterprise level initiatives
-
Strong understanding and experience executing in an Agile delivery technology organization (CSM a plus)

Demonstrated experience in working / liaising with technical vendors
-
Detail oriented, highly organized, punctual, and a strong mentor

Possesses a thorough knowledge of corporate budgeting terminology
-
Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills

Strong presentation skills and ability to understand how to message to a large audience

Director, Information Security
The Director of Information Security is a senior leadership role within the STS organization, reporting to the CISO, responsible for the development and execution of the overall enterprise information security roadmap that includes creation and implementation of effective and reasonable security standards and policies to secure protected and sensitive data and ensure information security and compliance with relevant legislation as well as identification, selection and deployment of security services and tools to identify, address and mitigate security risk.
Responsibilities include:

Define and drive the overall information security strategy and roadmap for the company including fortification of existing enterprise assets, implementation and constant revalidation of policies and procedures that enable consistent, effective information security practices which minimize risk and ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information that is owned, controlled, and processed within the organization.

Ensure creation, validation and execution of clearly defined and executable information security policies, standards, and procedures with appropriate governance to ensure ground-level adoption.

Create a culture of cyber security from the ground up both within the business lines and the technology team, starting with business requirements all the way through design, development and validation of code and configuration.

Initiate, facilitate, and promote activities to foster information security awareness within the organization. Establish the policies, procedures, tools, configurations, training, and audits that comprise the program.
