Big news for word-lovers: WordGirl™ has been honored with a 2015 Daytime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program!”
The Award was presented by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Sunday, April 26 at the 42nd Annual Creative Arts & Entertainment Daytime Emmy® Awards ceremony. This newest achievement marks the fourth Daytime Emmy win in the writing category for this clever show!
The series, which features word-fueled literacy adventures for the school-age set, airs Monday-Friday and is currently in its 7th Season on PBS KIDS. It's also available for streaming on Netflix and Hulu Plus and is available for download-to-own on Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play.
