March is a big month at Klutz! It's not only when the new release for Spring hit shelves but it's also National Craft Month.
If you've been reading OOM for a while, you know that I am a big fan of our Klutz products. (Anyone remember the Klutz OOM-lympics?) What you probably don't know, though, is that I was not at all 'crafty' when I came to Scholastic. That all changed when I started doing Klutz events and birthday parties at The Scholastic Store.
Klutz books are written with novices in mind. The step-by-step instructions are clear and are accompanied by illustrations that make it easy to follow along. As I go into just about every Klutz activity as a novice (and have to look like an expert,) I appreciate that clarity!
To celebrate National Craft Month, we are holding a series of crafting events at The Scholastic Store and Klutz titles are featured in our Broadway window. It includes a giant Pom-Pom Puppy and Felted Friend plus a bevy of crafts created by my team!
