We’re now in the final weeks of the Scholastic Read-a-Palooza Summer Reading Challenge and you know what that means… it’s Minute Mania Month!
During Minute Mania Month, kids can access all previous weeks of the Challenge and record any minutes they may have missed. If kids have been tracking their summer reading minutes on paper or by using another tracking system, now is the time they can log into scholastic.com/summer, record their minutes, and earn digital rewards for those reading efforts!
Plus, if a child is registered through their school, public library or local community partner organization, those minutes will help with the final push for their school, library or organization to earn top honors and the chance to be featured in the 2020 Scholastic Book of World Records this fall.
Minute Mania Month runs from now through the end of the Challenge on Friday, September 6 at scholastic.com/summer.
Thanks to research from the Scholastic Kids & Family Reading Report: 7th Edition, we know that more than half (59%) of all kids ages 6–17 say “I really enjoy reading books over the summer.” As we enter the last few weeks of August, let’s end the summer strong and ensure kids are back-to-school ready with the Scholastic Read-a-Palooza Summer Reading Challenge!
Attention educators, public librarians and community leaders! Don’t forget, this year's Scholastic Read-a-Palooza Summer Reading Challenge website will officially close on October 31. Be sure to download your class/group reports for your records between September 7 and October 31!
