For more than 14 years, Kid Reporters in the Scholastic News Kids Press Corps have reported "news for kids, by kids" from their hometowns, and on the national stage. This year, Kid Reporters have been busy covering the campaign trail, hitting the red carpet, and uncovering interesting stories within their communities, including interviews with Jay Leno, Sonia Manzano, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Harry Potter fans, and even presidential candidates! Their stories appear online and in issues of Scholastic classroom magazines, which reach more than 25 million students in classrooms nationwide.
So, if you know a kid with a nose for news, encourage them to apply! Follow the Scholastic News Kids Press Corps on Twitter at @KidsPress and visit the Kid Reporters’ Notebook blog for the latest Kid Reporter stories.
