May the 4th is Star Wars Day - I think this was decreed by the Empire but not sure...
Star Wars is so much more than the movies. A trip over to starwars.com could set you exploring for hours! The 'universe' just keeps expanding.
What's most exciting for me, though, is that there are more and more Star Wars books. In fact, Star Wars Reads Day III is set for October 11th to celebrate all things connecting Star Wars and literacy! There will be events all over the US, including The Scholastic Store. In the meantime, here are a few of the books we love in our Star Wars selection:
- Star Wars: Jedi Academy - Did you ever wonder what middle school was like for the Jedi? Find out here in this hysterical series debut!
- Star Wars: Heroes - It's never to early to introduce the characters of Star Wars, especially the good guys! This board book is perfect for the youngest of Jedi!
- Star Wars: Darth Vader: A 3D Reconstruction Log - Want to go behind the mask of one of the greatest villains of all time, just turn the page!
- LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary - This book is full of awesome Star Wars and LEGO facts. It also comes with it's own Mini-Fig!
