Storytime Spin™ is a new Scholastic Classroom Magazine that early educators can order just in time for the 2018–2019 school year!
Available in two editions for grades K–1 and 2, Storytime Spin incorporates short and engaging fiction stories for young readers that pair with the nonfiction in Let's Find Out® (K) and Scholastic News® 1 or 2. Storytime Spin is only available as an add-on to Let's Find Out or Scholastic News 1 and 2 subscriptions.
The magazine is delivered in print and digital formats eight times per year, providing students with opportunities to become well-rounded readers by exploring multiple genres such as realistic fiction, folktales, and how-to texts. Each issue also comes with engaging activities that teach students how to compare and contrast fiction and nonfiction.
The short texts are written by authentic authors such as Mélanie Watt which helps to get kids excited about reading. The content also serves as an exemplar text to model great writing for students.
