Recent rumblings near Mount St. Helens, a volcanic mountain part of the Cascades located in Skamania County, Washington, has raised questions about preparedness for a major earthquake. Hana interviewed Seth Moran, scientist-in-charge at the Cascades Volcano Observatory, about the science behind the rumbles and the Great Cascadia Earthquake, which occurs every 500 years, on average.

Students Call for Tougher Gun Laws

Stanford Athletes Win NCAA Championship

For the second year in a row, the Stanford University women’s swimming and diving team claimed the NCAA title. Sadie covered the 2018 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships and met Stanford University swimmers Katie Ledecky, Simone Manuel and Ella Eastin.
