Research shows children who read four or more books during the summer break fare better on reading comprehension tests when compared to their peers who read just one book (or none) over the summer. To give young readers a little extra incentive to keep those pages turning over the break, Scholastic Book Fairs recently launched a "Show Your Four" Sweepstakes! We want to see the four books you (and/or your kids and students) are most excited to read this summer.
Here's how the sweepstakes works:
1. Pick up four new books you (and/or your kids and students) are most excited to read over the summer.
2. Snap a picture (let us see those book covers!).
3. Share the picture with us on social media ---> Tag Scholastic Book Fairs on Facebook (/scholasticbookfairs) or Instagram (@scholasticbookfairs) and be sure to include #showyourfour and #summerreading in your post.
Then, mark your calendar for every Monday for the next seven weeks because that’s the day we'll be awarding one lucky person a special assortment of award winning titles. Read the official sweepstakes rules here.
