Nobody likes a bully. To help spread the word, Scholastic and Oxy Acne Medication are teaming up to host special video contest all about encouraging kids to show how they take a stand against bullying in their communities.
Kindness is one of the most important contributors to a positive school environment, and since actions speak louder than words, we’re asking students to show us how they support kindness and build empathy amongst their peers. Any student, or classroom of students, nationwide in grades 5-10 is invited to participate. To enter, students should create a video demonstrating how they would take a stand against bullying in their schools and submit it to their teachers before December 14, 2018. Teachers can submit videos on behalf of their class, or individual students, by visiting scholastic.com/nobullying before the deadline. The contest will be judged in two grade groups, with two grand prize winners and two runner-up winners in each group. Additionally, both teachers and students will be eligible to win prizes.
